As a solo female traveler arriving in Agadir right after Eid al-Adha, I stumbled straight into the legendary Boujloud Festival (also known as Bilmawen). Standing among the crowds, watching wild mythical figures in ancient Amazigh costumes parade through the streets, I felt like I was exactly where I was meant to be — right place, right time. What began as a normal day of wandering turned into a magical immersion in one of Morocco’s oldest living traditions.
